My grandma passed away two years ago. I went to a festival that year and they happened to be part of the line up. I only knew one song but as soon as Nick started to sing this tears started to rush down my cheeks. I miss my grandma so bad

Now 5 comments: The Proposition if one of my (many) favourite films, the trailer ua-cam.com/video/tDFT7jEi4fM/v-deo.html is an awful Hollywood-bastardisation of the thoughtful tones of the film - quiet, despairing, and desperately devastating. It has a high calibre, outstanding cast, is spectacularly shot, and has a blistering script & soundtrack by Nick Cave (and Warren Eillis). I get the distinct feeling all involved were doing it as a labour of love, knowing full well that it would not be a commercial success. So glad to see artistic integrity is still out there somewhere.

This is amazing. Probably one of the most genuine & passionate, excellent songs ever released by Nick Cave. Real innovation. A seriously needed, revelatory song that proves there is still musical genius left in the world today, despite the music industry. The song is brilliant, like a ray of sun momentarily piercing through a dark, murky shroud.

Listening this song and suddenly i have a glass full of whisky in my red right hand, a cigarette in between my lips and i am calling family meetings, by uorder of the poiky fooking bloinders!
